Slow, but gets the job done.
I wanted a secondary charger for my Garmin nuvi and purchased this one. It is slow, but it gets the job done. **It's almost worth packing a power strip with all the electronics we seem to need while travelling these days!

Good Value
This was shipped by Sewell the same day I ordered it and arrived only a few days later. I was surprised by how solid it felt. I plugged it into my Garmin 755t and it went to work. First it went into PC mode, I guess because you are using the USB plug, but after about 15-20 seconds it started loading maps and went to the menu screen, cool.

So, I played with the 755t for a while and then turned it off. That's when the screen showed that it was charging. It doesn't seem to take very long to charge the battery either.

I took off one star only because I found the cord to be just a bit short. However, it's almost 4 feet long, which is fine for charging, and at this price I don't mind using one of the many extension cords I've got laying around.

All-in-all I've found this to be a good value so far.

Nuvi wall charger
I haven't had one issue with my cord. It arrived to my house within days of purchase and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I think it's a great product and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Does not work too well
The plug that connects this to the GPS does not always seem to connect too well, so I have to keep an eye on it to make sure it is actually charging from the wall plug power. I guess you get what you pay for as I paid less than for it and should have gotten one from Garmin that I knew would work with my GPS.

MY SON TOLD ME ABOUT THIS NAVI AND I JUST HAD TO TRY IT. I'M NOT SUCH A GOOD READER OF MAPS AND I REALLY HAVE NO NAVIGATIONAL SKILLS, I CANNOT EVEN GET MYSELF TO THE AIRPORT WITHOUT TAKING A NERVE PILL, BUT NOW !!!!!!!!!! I AM GOOD TO GO. IF YOU ARE LIKE ME AND FEEL YOU JUST CAN'T GET ANY WHERE AND YOU ARE A LITTLE COMPUTER ILLITERATE, GET YOURSELF A NUVI WITH ALL THE ATTACHMENTS AND HAVE A BALL.
